I love telling stories, especially sad stories. This one is about a guy who had a fleeting summer romance with a girl, but left when she fell ill since he couldn't deal with the stress. When leaving, he lights a candle to symbolise their short but bright love, but the candle burns the house down with the girl inside it.

Also, fun little side note, the sirens you hear at the end were actually made using an open mic and me wailing from across the room, with a lot of reverb added.
